I started one a few months ago (less than 6 I think) and dumped a couple images each day. I accidentally missed a day and the thread 404'd, which confused me at first because /c/ doesn't move that fast. I figured some mod deleted it for "lol offtopic" and so I stopped making them.
A trip named "Anybody" does art dumps on /a/, they're not all scenic but he archives them and they're probably worth skimming:
