I ran across folks that couldn't speak to you because they didn't speak English. Never mind that we were speaking passable Japanese to them...
So I surmise (my opinion is probably off-base), that this person hasn't got past the possibility that other cultures might like Tsukasa as well.
It's nothing bad, merely a mental hurdle...
