I played Katawa Shoujo almost two years ago and did every story line possible. I could decide between Hanako and Rin for my favorites but they all made me feel. I actually forgot about the game and saw this thread as an infrequent visitor.
There were times when I was playing that I forgot about my own life and was in the mentality I was actually in the game. I would worry about his problems as I went to school and stuff. I would wonder why I couldn't really be sure if Rin liked me or if I was just fantasizing about some impossible thing.

Somewhere on part 4,the act is literally called "Dream" and on the files the neutral ending is called "true ending", add that time Hisao sees Rin crying while sleeping and that´s how that theory started.

Why not, but with this theory we admit there is some fanastic in KH, and this is a pretty bad plot twist, because there is no proof of this, expect it is call "dream".

She could be crying of happiness, or over the realization that that dream wont come true, but anyway, it´s just an interpretation, no need to take it seriously. Naming the neutral end "trueend" in the files is what I find interesting though.
