From the rumours i've read (which still not said are wrong at 7 years) LB was originally going to launch with EX and Ero in tact to it, but VA said they were taking too long that whole route is exactly how you get onto Sasami's route excluding one option.

Kud was chosen as the girl to get that scene rolling for various reason to which i will not spoil. She's also na-ga pride and joy so she got slipped into everything he was allowed to get her in on.

Realistically, as much as people want to scream "oh they're jewing us" maeda was behind the new plan for AB as he didn't want to have to rush out a game like they did LB again.

Perfect timing for some new Kud art. Glad you enjoyed your time with her.

I still get new scenes going through the novel sometimes. It's amazing all the twists and turns they put in it. Rewrite is so linear in comparison.

Got kinda jealous, so working on getting Fate Extra running. When I played through Nero's route last year, ppsspp was still in its infancy, but that is the way to go now, apparently. That other emulator running on java is crap still I guess. You have your own psp, so you probably haven't tried them before.

Was mis tagged as usual, but hey i'm really glad to have some to stave off the post-vn downfall.

I was really suprised to come across that it's like my 16th kud replay, hit the option by accident and got it, was worth it though . I really do love how much it branches, i wonder wht else i could have missed still. Yeah rewrite was a real let down in that regard, it's almost as linear as an actual linear VN.

I have used PPSSPP to play Corpse party (with all the deaths the save states were the only way i could handle playing that). it's pretty stable now compare to how it used to be. I hope you enjoy your Extra play!

Not sure how many times I've been through Rin routes. When the novel first got translated, I read through each route about 3 or 4 times I'd guess. I loved it that much. Rin is so focal in each route, but it's hard for me to declare each one of those reads as a reading for her.

I was just surprised once I played Rewrite. Key did such a good job with the branching extra dialog and scenes in LB, that I expected the same thing in Rewrite.

Really want to find out more about Archer and Foxy as much as anything. Hearing Rin's voice will mess with my heart though.

maeda wasn't the lead on rewrite, i pin it all on that really. The stories were good on their own were good, but they didnt have something that made them feel like they were apart of each other like Little busters does with friendship, or clannad with family.

Oh, meant to ask you a question. Are there a lot of words in Japanese with multiple meanings? My vocabulary is still laughable, but just realized that I've already learned multiple means for a few words. They aren't even closely related either. Shi can mean both the number 4, and city of all things.

It works well for me.

While there are it's not like the diffrence between "there" and "their" just an example 楽しむ "tanoshimu" means "enjoying yourself" but can also be translated to "having fun" or "appreciate" But it's a very contextual language, so more often than not it is really easy to read out the correct meaning and the meanings are usually very close to one another.

There are a few kanji with dual meanings, but you almost never see those meanings used outside of peoples names.

季 being ki does mean season. Theres a few, the main goal of "楽しむ" was to refer to the "enjoying yourself" and "appreciation", they will be tangently related due to the way kanji work normally. Though there are the occasional ones that make no sense, it's not too common though.

Reason I asked about ki is that I had trouble memorizing shiki which they were teaching to mean 4 seasons. Then my knucklehead finally remembered that shi means 4 and that it shouldn't be hard to remember at all. Some of the memrise programs teach things in an odd manner. Why teach 4 seasons as a word instead of simply seasons. Had me trying to learn entire phrases at one point. I put those on ignore.

Yeah that really sounds like an odd way to teach anything if you're good with kanas you should move onto the "core japanese" anki packs. learning pphrases is typically the best way to do it as it helps you learn a lot of extra stuff at the same time, and builds the grammar into you as you go.

For example, on of them was ga arimasu ka? This is supposed to mean, do you have? Well that great, but what means what? I wouldn't be learning a word and it's English equivalent. They just want me to memorize a Japanese phrase and it's English equivalent without going any deeper.

Do these Anki packs work differently?

WEll the core anki teaches entire phrases, but the main aim is to learn individual words in the phrases, then as you do more and mroe you'll end up just teaching yourself grammar and other words without even having to focus on them.

Pls don't lie ;_; i really like sesame, my room is just generally dark. i really hope that her scene with kud is in her episodes so they make a poster or something of that i'd be so happy if i could get one of that scene.

just started on the PSvita version of kudwafter, they've added so many new scenes to this i am really impressed that they took the time to do this on on. the new art is great.

Glad they added some things. I'm sure we'll see some rereleases for Rewrite at some point. Some extrea CG's and perhaps a Touka route would be great.

Need to get a Vita at some point. Missing out on too many weeb games, although, someone finally cracked the PS3 a few days ago. Only plays homebrew right now, but might see some stable emulation within a year or so. Looking forward to that. Don't really want to but another console.

I hope we do.. it's kind of sad that it hasn't gotten anything, all the attention is on AB really right now. They didn' even do a favorite girl expansion like Clannad and LB got doesn't bode well on it's popularity. Kud wafter sold almost as much as rewrite on it's own...

I'll have to check out that soon, i'd really like to play a couple ps3 games i'm too lazy to sit at the TV for i prefer sitting at the PC really for games.

Need an Inoue route as well. Don't want Inoueanon to go without a route for his waifu.

They added a lot of extra every day scenes, just talking to her and going shopping with her, there might be more drama down the line but i'm really liking the pacing of getting to spend time with her before the suffering.

Yeah if it's done well it can add a lot to the story, if it's done poorly it can really drag a story down. most of the eroge hate is pretty hypocritical, most of it is a joke I'm sure but like every joke there's that minority that vehemently believes it destroys everything.
