The only thing making it look bad is the lines defining them, if you changed the lined to dark tones like you did elsewhere it would look pretty good.
If I was to give any advice on it; you should take into account lighting. In yours everything is the seemingly fully exposed to light, you should take into account where the source of light is and what shadows it would be casting. For example if light was coming from the window or the wall the table should cast a shadow on the wall below it.
