>>2290457"Lain", a name, is a proper noun. Proper nouns are capitalized except for stylistic reasons. (such as "iPhone")
A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. (For example, "I love Lain, Lain is cute." becomes "I love Lain, she is cute.") Pronouns are not capitalized after the beginning of a sentence except for "I" and its contractions, or if it is used to show respect for religious purposes. (For instance, "I love Lain and She loves me.")
This is all completely moot however, as love transcends language itself.
