>all to get more traffic on their shitty site, mstrchan.... I didn't mention Mstrchan at all. I mentioned Infinity Chan. Could you at least read my post, please?
>every time 4chan starts orchestrating some childish raidIt was as much of a raid as Chanology was. We weren't sending harassing phone calls, we weren't sending pizzas or empty boxes or Koran's en masse. It wasn't a raid, it was activism. We were e-mailing advertisers en masse, getting honest journalists to report on it, and getting game devs to speak out about it. There was nothing raid-like about it at all. There was no organized harassment or doxxing of anybody. You can call it a raid all you want, but it simply was not a raid. It was activism, political and social activism, something 4chan is, ironically, well known for, and moot and his mods shut it down because it was activism that went against their own ideologies.
And now moot and his mods are going around and deleting and banning posts that are anti-SJW in any way, even on /pol/ and on /b/.
moot is allowed to do with his website whatever he wants. He can ban the GamerGate threads if he pleases. But I also have the right to call him out on his hypocritical bullshit. Do you remember the 2010 TED Talks moot gave? When he talked about how great 4chan was because it was so free, because it was one of the few places on the internet where almost complete freedom of speech reigned? And now he's saying "Nope, that doesn't apply any more." The man has betrayed his principals, and betrayed what this site stood for and represented to so many people for so long.
As far as I'm concerned, then, both he and this website can go fuck themselves.
