Regardless, the series itself is rife with dreamlike MadoHomu imagery. In fact, these fantasies form the premise of Rebellion. Personally, when I see saccharine fanart with Madoka and Homura, I am always deeply reminded of the reality of their relationship. It's kind of like "memento mori."
