Maybe this is stretching it, but I think part of the problem is that the anime sometimes makes Yuno act way too ditsy too, which probably makes her seem like the kind of ditz that Nazuna is.
Of course, the missing chapters do help to develop Nazuna's character, but that doesn't really change the fact that a lot of people hated her the moment they saw her. It's funny that no one really seems to care about Nori that much in comparison, either in good or bad.
At least Ume has given Matsuri enough focus right from the get go, even though some people still say she's a Mini-Yoshi.
