All contenants are attached to vowels "a, i, u, e, o"(hiragana characters: あいうえお) now add a contents (such as k) makes ka ki ku ke ko. (exceptions for chi, shi, tsu and nn, hiragana characters: ちしつん)
Wa or わ stands alone (no other vowles work with it, at least in hiragana)
and Y only has ya, yu, yo (ex: やゆよ)
Well, with this you should be able to pronounce just about any english word were a jap could speak it, go learn hiragana and katakona because it would only take a day or two...
