So what you're telling me is that you'd prefer to choose incredibly self-destructive and negative behavior than face the possibility that life won't go perfectly for you all the time.
You have to be an extremely sensitive and easily disturbed individual for that to seem like a good idea. Yeah, nothing bad will happen to you in your bubble (Other than wasting time that could be better spent elsewhere and most likely allowing your health to deteriorate.), but nothing bad will happen to you if you put on a straight jacket and get locked in a fuzzy room either (Other than wasting time that could be better spent elsewhere and most likely allowing your health to deteriorate.) but that doesn't mean it's something desirable to have happen to you. I like anime as much as the next guy, I'm on /c/ after all, but glorifying being a timid shut-in is frankly sad as hell.
I know I'm being dramatic as hell and I'm probably overstepping a little a bit, but you type well and your opinions technically make as much sense as mine, it's just a shame people like you shut down and give up on life in favor of... what? Jacking off all day in order to make yourself feel good instead of accomplishing something? Your addiction is only a temporary solution for deeper issues man, and it is ineffective. You watch too much of this stuff because you are saddened by real life, and the more you watch the more saddening your real life gets, so you begin to hate real life because yours is sad. You will never fix your problem and be happy if you act like that, you can only sweep so many broken lamps under your mattress before it starts to overflow a bit.
