Of course she acted like tyrant and pretty much egoistic for the most of times, but that's what you should call "healthy" egoism, for the sake of greater good she never thought about her own survival, she only wanted to spare humanity from fiber menace and used everything in order to achieve her goal no matter how cruel it may seemed. Unlike many of battle shonen characters Satsuki's reasoning and ways are very believable, very "human-like", that what makes her to be so good. But of course her main flaw and thing that caused her to fall - her extreme overconfidence, she used fibers to defeat the one who is basically is The Fiber Empress and completely ignored Nudist Beach which could've be helpful in her quest more than she thought. She should've put her time into developing anti-fiber weaponry and techniques to destroy fiber creatures like Nui or her mom, not just create kamui-like Goku uniforms, you simply can't fight fire with fire.
