2. Responding to shitposting does nothing but encourage more shitposting, and that goes doubly so for getting mad about shitposting.
I understand your view, and it sucks that /c/ doesn't have more active moderation (it's understandable given the speed of the board and its nature). But all you're doing by giving bait the attention it's after is ensuring that it'll get posted again.
