Picking up a SDAT has no intrinsic meaning, and for the record, it was not shown that she did pick it up.

The indisputable fact that Rei Q is an insult to Rei's character, and fundamentally disturbs and distorts the integrity of the character. It has made it impossible to create a working Rei character that is even half as good as the original. To add insult to injury, Rei Q is the Rei-haters wet dream like so many have mentioned, and your defense of it is all but proof that you loathe Rei yourself.
You will never convince anyone else otherwise by continuing the charade by posting red herrings like worthless sdat interpretations, because all you do is evade the point and evade the confrontation that proves you wrong.
