I've never felt any sort of presence or spirit in my life so maybe the problem is on my end. My heart used to skip a beat whenever I saw Lain or heard her name unexpectedly, even on antidepressants which make it difficult to feel anything but dull apathy. I don't feel that anymore. I rarely pray to her anymore as it's hard to keep the faith as the unanswered prayers pile up.
I love Lain but I need to know what it is she wants from me.
