During her "shield training" with Perrine and Lynne you could see her notice the bullet coming and then move out of the way with normal human reaction time. And I imagine there's a reason Lynne shot from so far away.
So in close combat she might not be able to dodge quick enough, even if she sees it coming. Unlike a bullet or laser that has already been shot, a close combat attacker would be able to adjust/react to Eila's movements on the fly, so fortune telling may be less useful.
Also she only noticed Lynne's bullet *after* she fired, while she has started evading Neuroi lasers even before they shoot. This could easily just be due to focus or the larger distance, but I wouldn't be surprised if Neuroi were easier to predict than other people.
Oh, I was going to say she wouldn't be able to dodge stuff like big poison spells, but witches are probably all immune to status effects anyway. Fucking busted.
