It's a little polarizing because it's a laid back show and largely about medieval era mercantilism, but the people who like S&W tend to really fucking like it, so I'd recommend watching the first three or so episodes to get a feel.
It also really benefits from being one of the few shows that goes in depth into this sort of thing, which makes it unique. The author's notes in the LN's really show he's into economics, so he ended up writing a VN about stock exchange later on.
Also it really helps that the protagonist has a bit more meat to him. Like, he's relatable, but he's got his own stuff going on.
