I've been using the internet for approximately the same amount of time that 4chan has existed and it just blows my mind of how far the internet has come, much less this site. Literally, every aspect of my life has been and still is influenced by this hellsite. I never expected memes to become widespread, I never expected a bunch of nazi autists to fuck up my country's election, I never expected society to get to here. I kinda miss the old internet where things were easier, but I also like the way things are now. If I could show my ten-year-old self current memes and r34 of character, I'd get a heart attack and die.
