despite everything she was dragged through she still had a smile on her face up until her last fight, always treated others kindly, and never let anyone see her sad -- even when she was alone she seemed content with very few signs of depression
i'll use the dictionary definition of "cope" with to prove my point:
"to struggle or deal, especially on fairly even terms or with some degree of success (usually followed by with):"
she's struggling on the inside but rarely lets it show and she's even content at times when she's alone, so yes, she copes very well. i'm not saying she doesn't feel bad and horrible deep down, because i'm sure she does, but to use the term 'copes very well' in conjunction with mami is objectively accurate and correct.
