i'll use the dictionary definition of "cope" with to prove my point:
"to struggle or deal, especially on fairly even terms or with some degree of success (usually followed by with):"
she's struggling on the inside but rarely lets it show and she's even content at times when she's alone, so yes, she copes very well. i'm not saying she doesn't feel bad and horrible deep down, because i'm sure she does, but to use the term 'copes very well' in conjunction with mami is objectively accurate and correct.
