It's puggo, coming straight at you from his phone because he's near comatose. Happy Thanksgiving, you guys. Honestly, I don't remember when or why I started these threads, but I do remember that it changed me mentally- for better or for worse. I started these threads when I was going through a heavy depression, and by the winter of 2016, it only got worse. The countless people who post Nonon here in these threads were my only real interactions with anyone, and probably kept me alive. It was because of these threads that I got my love for astronomy and as a result of me reading other things from the field, a higher awareness of my surroundings. My depression was lessened by the things I read, and I had a new sense of hope for the future, and some form of self love. Obviously, things in real life affected me too, like this summer, where I was completely alone for three months gave me plenty of time to read and think. But the bottom line is that these threads gave me a place, and gave me a method of coping. As stupid as it sounds, one of the reasons I haven't killed myself is because I thought "Who else would do the threads?". I'm thankful for you guys, and I'm thankful for Nonon.
