>>3033341IMO the problem is the 150 thread limit which goes fast because people insist on doing character specific threads instead of sharing a single general for the whole show. For example, (not intentionally singling anyone out) not only is there a K-ON general, but there's individual threads for all 4 main characters and sometimes whole threads just for a single side character. That's at 5 least threads and sometimes more when just 1 thread would do!
I understand the pride in keeping a longrunning thread series going but this problem is only going to get worse as more people find /c/, more popular shows get people into anime, more slice of life shows get people into waifuism (at the moment, there are 11 threads related to a kyoani production), and so on. Letting ultrapopular and seasonal shows bump off slower but still quality threads goes against the unspoken /c/ principle of "every girl is best girl."
