Been rewatching Brave Witches with the BD releases and I've noticed a few things this time around that I missed the first time.
-The Neuroi have more personality. A notable example is the spotter from the Moscow episode and how it seems to panic, especially when it has to assemble a disguise quickly, but the best is Grigori, which is way too smug for its own good. It shoots the cannon's turret and then it just packs up everything and stops attacking, even the Witches right next to it. It knows they're beat and that it doesn't have to bother with them. Or maybe I'm just reading into it too much and forcing personality on them, I don't know.
-I like how there's more cooperation with the rest of the military. Sure, Rall is lying to the commanders the entire time to cover for Hikari, but there isn't any adversarial nonsense like with the 501st. And in the last episodes, when the witches are trying every stupid idea they can come up with, the guys in charge take a, "well, they're our only hope, so let's see what happens" approach.
-If there's a core inside the core and it's constantly moving, then why does anyone care about static coordinates? Aren't those coordinates going to be irrelevant after a fraction of a second?
-I'm pretty sure Hikari's uniform doesn't have pockets. Where is she keeping Kanno's gloves? Where is she keeping the pistol in the last episode?
-Maybe it's because I've lived all my life near Spanish speakers, but I just absolutely cannot get over how they pronounce Jose with a hard J. I get that it's more in line with the G sound from Georgette, but it just feels wrong.
