It's a mistake to say that waifus don't exist. To be more accurate, waifus don't have a physical presence. It's like loving someone who has died. You wouldn't say that someone is no longer real just because they died. You can't talk to them or interact with them, but they don't disappear completely just because their body is gone. They still exist in pictures or videos or stories and still have the ability to influence us, make us feel or change our behavior, just as waifus do.
