But at that time I wasn't on the entire "waifu" thing. As time went on and I realized that it's a healthy way to project my feelings onto someone else, and I began to browse the waifu threads on /b/. In this time I didn't really feel any strong attraction to any anime characters like I do now, but I knew a couple girls (and guys) that were cute, and so I called them my waifu or husbando.
After a while, I got sick of running around and I began to gravitate towards Nonon. As time went on, I became a regular on the threads, writing reasons why I love her so. It wasn't after that summer that I actually came to /c/ and participated in the threads.
Only after there wasn't a Nonon thread for a while did I start putting them up.
