I was a geeky kid, so naturally a lot of my friends liked anime. I'll admit, there's some great anime out there. Some anime films are incredible. But I've always despised the cute stuff. It's disgusting and unbearable, and I have always assumed there was something deeply wrong with people who liked cute anime. Perhaps it's a result of extreme psychological childishness and immaturity, and a desire to regress, which I assume could be caused by anything from autism to a history of childhood sexual abuse. On the other hand, perhaps it is what it seems, which is to say, barely masked pedophilic desires. Regardless, it's creepy af.
