just recently watched the show, holy fuck that was an emotional roller coaster.
but about mami, I didn't think much of her at first, but then the battle with Witch Gertrud changed everything. From that point forward, i started to really admire Mami
She has a cool demeanor, but also this smug-yet-humble self confidence that says "I may not be perfect, and i'm far from the best, but I'm still gonna find a way to win and do my job, and do it in style." And I find that very admirable. Also, it helps that she's weapons-grade cute and has a spectacular theme song.
I think I realized how much I cared about Mami when Madoka went to visit her apartment afterwards, as that's when it really started to sink in that Mami was actually kill. I remember having to remind myself to breathe and legitimately got light-headed, the fact that Mami was actually ded hit me that hard.
