Oh look, another wal*mart Nichichou thread.
Things Nichijou has that Azumanga Daioh doesn't:
* chemistry and multi-dimensional relationships between characters
* voice acting with comic range (not just "this character talks slowly," "this character talks high pitched and cute," etc)
* character development and personalities that range beyond things like "this character likes cats," or "this character is a lesbian"
* slightly dramatic moments that actually have a little bit of pathos because again, the characters are a little deeper than fucking "THIS GIRL LIKES CATS"
* actual directing
* animation
* comedic timing
but go ahead, tell me all about how Nichijou is just forced animation and exaggerated reactions.
