Hello everyone. I was that anon who attempted to make some sort of self-insert fanfic with Lain. Well, yeah, I stopped. I found that I just didn't enjoy it nor am I the person who would make some wish fulfillment stuff. I thought to do it since these sorts of fanfics are tradition for imageboards and I was surprised there was none for SEL, but I am sure as Hell I am not the one to do it.
Basically, the point was to just make a fanfic about an anon in a group home, and that home gets community service from a group of high schoolers. Lain was with them and (for whatever reason) found an interest in anon's PC that he had in his room. That was when I stopped after one entry. After that anon and Lain eventually become friends. It is revealed that anon is in a group home because he has a disorder that leads to him losing touch with reality. It would've ended on a wholesome note as Lain is now able to visit the group home almost as a family member and possibly even sleep over (no lewd happenings or implications). The note the story leaves on is that Lain teaches anon how to do basic programming, all the way into the midnight.
