we already have certain threads that stay alive for 3~ months due to one anon bumping with one image a day, that would only cause the much slower threads on the board to take up space for a longer period of time.
150 is comfy number and if there is still interest at the 150 mark, then a new thread can be made. 150 also allows girls with less art to get a full thread every now and then that doesn't get abandoned once people just lose interest after a few months or they run out of images
