>Arc 4?In arc 4 she has to overcome not having her helicopter parent that is Puck with her at all times, feeding her answers to life. She eventually musters the strength to face her past and remembers the strength of her aunt Fortuna and by contrast, unlocks a decent amount of magical potential, as well as the desire to mirror Fortuna's strong personality when she needs it. She uses these traits when confronting Roswaal in the borrowed mansion in the 4 and 5 interlude, and again uses this strong unyielding trait when she told Hienkel to quit being a dick at the breakfast party in arc 5.
Tappei writes his characters to have their development portrayed "on screen", as many charecters come and go throughout the arcs (like Ram, Rem, Garfiel, etc) their development cycles are much shorter and noticeable, besides Subaru, Emilia is the only other constant charecter, she has had a considerable amount of development in contrast to Subaru at this point comparatively, especially for not even being the MC.
