Prushka was probably a pre-existing project. Bonerdad probably had the power of friendship thing as a hypothesis for quite a while, which explains why he left Nanachi and Mitty for last in their batch. Given the number of blob fellows in the pit, he's been at this for a while.
The biggest timesinks are Bondrewd using Nanachi as a lab assistant, which was apparently long enough to make her a proficient surgeon, finding and building her base, and collecting all those dead delvers.
tl;dr I agree, she's been there quite a while.
