Autumn is officially here! Pumpkins, falling leaves, and crisp colors are starting to slowly fill in the periphery of our world.
I always love seeing Homura art that shows her in toasty jackets and warm fall clothes. If Homura repeated her time loop nearly 100 times, as was said during a Nitro+ QA panel, that means that she endured almost twelve years in her time loop. With Homura’s time loop going through just March and April, she was denied the pleasure of changing seasons - summer’s hot intensity, winter’s frigid indifference, and fall’s chilly comforts did not reach her. To me, a Homura in fall and winter clothes is a Homura of living, forward progress.
Drink in the changes between seasons and the quiet moments in your life as much as you can. Life isn’t something we get to do over, and it isn’t an endless experience. Somewhere in the future, death awaits us all. Whether we know it or not, we're all looking down the barrel of that gun. The life you live is the real thing - this is no dress rehearsal. Don’t merely make your time count, anon; enjoy the process of counting it. And most importantly, while your life continues on, reflect on how fortunate you are to be alive in a world that includes Homura Akemi. Welcome to Thread 98.
