You can verify that it's lossless on Linux with imagemagick (compare -metric mae original.png compressed.png difference.png && rm difference.png) or on Windows by removing compression from both the original and recompressed images with pngcrush (drag-and-drop batch file: pngcrush_1_8_11_w64.exe -force -m 1 -l 0 %1 "%~n1_decompressed.png") and then converting both decompressed images to bitmap: they'll be bit-for-bit identical.
