The 150 image limit is fine as one off threads have a shorter lifespan - we don't need more dead threads that get bumped once a day for 150 days, increasing the image limit would only cause these threads to stay alive for many more months despite no interest. If there is interest then people will call for a new thread, if there isn't then it dies.
