If you don't like flying ships, then maybe not because that is the backdrop of the entire show.
I don't really want to compare it to Eureka 7 because I think it would be doing the show a disservice, but the overall set up and concept is similar but I think as an overall package this holds up a lot better since it doesn't suffer from a lot of the problems that turn people off E7.
