Hope this is an alright place to ask.
Currently working on refurbishing subtitles for the Nanoha anime series, just about finished with MSLN now.
Had a few questions I thought some Nanoha experts may be able to clear up/verify.
1. Fate's mother's name should be Presea, after the Nissan Presea, not Precia.
2. Yuuno may've been named after the Mazda Eunos but I've never seen it as Euno(s) in any of the series, movies, manga, etc, so "Yuuno" makes the most sense.
3. Al-Hazard instead of Alhazred. It seems reasonable that Al-Hazard was named after it, since the Necronomicon ("written" by Alhazred contains ancient spells and whatnot, not unlike what Al-Hazard was supposed to contain). However, I believe Alhazred is pronounced differently than Al-Hazard is in the anime, and I've seen Al-Hazard much more frequently than Alhazred. Even if the creators intended it to be Alhazred, it's not what the characters are saying, and I assume most people who know the franchise will be put off.
4. Raising Heart should get female pronouns
5. Fate's spell incantation "Arcus, Cultus, Aegeas, Baruel, Zaluel, Browzel"
There's a Suzuki Cultus, haven't been able to find car models named after various other spellings of the other words. Not sure if these are made-up terms or not, but if anyone knows what they're "supposed" to be, I'd appreciate it.
