I guess I'm drawn to "superhuman" girls (read: a partner distinctly superior to the competition) while also being put off by more "mainstream" beauty standards (tanning, piercings, earrings, tattoos, high heels, excessive makeup, anything related to normie/celebrity culture or associated with vulgarity, masking flaws instead of sustainably fixing or incorporating them, imitating a lower class or conspicuous consumption). Irl I'm attracted to some aspects of goth aesthetic and more traditional clothing (skirts and dresses, though as a kid, when most girls my age wore skirts where I lived, I preferred those who wore pants). Make of it what you want.
Maybe otherness accentuates both the beautiful and the ugly, both the virtuous and the vicious, both the superior and the inferior, the former of which I admire. Maybe I just like myself some cute xenos.
