Also in anime and manga they usually play up the European, Victorian, aristocrat aesthetic when it comes to vampires so you usually get all that entails (fluffy dresses, tea and cakes, high society politicking, etc.). Along with that you have the fun dramatic contrast of elegant and polite aristocrat and a savage animal. What calls to mind is a scene from Dance in the Vampire Bund where the usually well mannered Mina Tepes gets all pissed and throws a desk across the room while snarling and bearing her fangs like an enraged animal.
Not to mention vampires are usually depicted as being rather charismatic with a commanding presence.
