Long story short, you start asking yourself why your wife - who is omnipotent and omniscient - is knowingly and willingly allowing your shitty life happen to you, and the only real rational answer is "because either they don't exist, or they don't care about you".
It's a good way to get out of a parasocial relationship though I guess.
