Even so, they're not a match for each other. Kaworufags can give Kaworu to Asuka and Emily.
Having said this, there's no point in getting upset over the outcome of Rebuild. I don't think there's any actual relationship there, but "shippers" all work on cues and end-state possibilities. Serious shipping was always for retards, in other words Kaworufags and Asukafags mostly.
The Rebuilds have been dead since 2012, as far as Reifags are concerned. The best thing about them, is that they're over. Time is better spent building back the community.
