Health-wise, if you couple it with a small water pipe it will add a layer of filtering and make it easier on your throat too.
Doing so will also help you consume way less amount and regulate your intake better.
The real problem isn't weed per se, that part is neutral in nature, it's the way you use it. If you simply use it to cope and learn nothing out of it then it's just as bad as a tobaco or a whiskey shot, if not worse, as it only reinforces a habit your mind will then be expecting/looking forward to. You believe doing it makes you feel better, but from the look of it you pretty much just seem to be dissociating.
If you treated it with more respect and used it introspectively to learn more about yourself, you probably wouldn't be here typing this.
Lastly if you want to cut it, or cut THC that is, get hemp flowers and within weeks you might very well realize you don't want THC in your life anymore, and end up having better control over it again.
