It's an issue that goes back to her manga characterization, due to her not appearing frequently and one of her main jokes/traits being that she's attractive. I've accepted that but when it comes to finding appropriate fanart (while also maintaining a sense of quality standard) it becomes somewhat disappointing. Artists are using what they have. Otherwise you get those awful pictures that show the artist is into a completely different character type (like "Miyuki is secretly a rude bitch", her fighting Konata, or that art of her fallen on the ground and crying that's just awkward.) I don't hate the mangaka for not focusing on her better, it does make sense why she isn't around all the time, and it's not like the other characters were portrayed deeply beyond a couple primary traits for the sake of relaxed comedy, but it didn't do her a lot of favors how things played out.
