>>4117239What matters the most is that you have morals. You have principles, and when you do something outside of them, you analyze your behavior closely, so much so you are ready to deny yourself in order to stay true to what you value. It's something I can only praise. Few people are like this
You are a human and you have feelings that you can't and frankly shouldn't ignore. However, you should not let feelings alone guide you either. You love someone, so do we all. A man always has to love someone or something, otherwise he cannot exist. And true love surely makes you one hell of a fanatic. Eventually you start daydreaming, coming up with rituals or traditions of sort to make it a fundamental part of your life even more. Or if that's a person, it could go as far as non-stop stalking marathons. But you have to ask yourself, where is my border? At what point does my love become warped and wrong? We all are prone to make mistakes, to overthink, to overdo. Many people lack the definition of such a border, they lack order in their life, and they regret many things later on, though at first they thought they were doing things that could bring them pleasure and happiness
One thing you can't do is to betray someone accidentally. Because if you actually did, you wouldn't have to ask yourself if you have. The way you write it, I would say that it is normal to feel the way you do given the context, even though I don't think I would share this feeling. But as a human, you could at any moment fall from where you stand right now, because it's a slippery spot. I don't think you you should despise yourself for merely this, but I suggest you distant yourself from such things in the future and enjoy that which you already have
