Two people whose life has been full of tragedy and whose hearts fit like two pieces of a puzzle, perfectly complementing each other, finding love, understanding and happiness in each other, their steadfast determination to hold on to what they have as their world crumbles around them, all this suffering, their trials and tribulations leading from the darkness of despair to the light of hope. And the knowledge of how fragile all of this was, how easily life could have taken a radically different direction with just the tiniest wrong decision, how difficult it really was to reach that happy smile there at the end... It's just not fair. It's beautiful, and tragic and sad and happy all at once.
