Even when it comes to berserk modes and abnormally high sync rates Asuka proved she could also do it in EoE.
So again where exactly did he exhibit more skill than she did or did something that she couldn't? She was mad at him because he kept getting the spotlight and glory and praise but it was repeatedly down to luck or circumstance.
