- some berserk stuff was going to happen with Unit-01, it was going to fuck up 00 and 02 until 02 subdues it.
- by this time Seele is looking for any excuse to reduce Gendo's power.
- 02 is repossessed by NERV Germany. Other Eva units produced by America, Russia, and China are finished. No mindless MPs so I could have fun with pilot vs pilot stuff in Act 4.
- political intrigue stuff progresses. JSSDF wants to orchestrate a coup and needs NERVs Evas.
- Act 4 would just have been like 3 or 4 chapters of the siege of tokyo-3. JSSDF and and 2 or 3 japanese piloted Evas vs UN joint invasion force + like 6 or 7 Evas.
- one of them is Kaworu. Would've had fun with Asuka and Kaworu stuff. Toasterman stole it from my dreams.
- Asuka and Shinji, while apart, and on opposites ends of the unfolding war, mature a little more.
- they have big, brutal Eva fight.
- the details here are fuzzy. Maybe I outlined them in the notes doc but PROBABLY NOT. Big resolutions/reconciliations happen. No Third Impact.
- epilogue, Shinji and Asuka are drawn apart again in the aftermath of the war. Their lives progress, they have other relationships, grow as people. They stay in touch sporadically but never completely silent, and eventually meet again like, late 20s/early 30s. Epilogue ends with them catching up, on the cusp of a better relationship."
