>>4309186Not really. There is a difference between threads for different girls from the same show (ex. Madoka, K-on, etc) and threads where only one small detail was changed (taking an active thread and adding an additional specific criteria).
Madoka can't be posted in Sayaka's thread or Mami's thread unless she's with the thread specific girl, so separate threads are fine if I'm just looking for one specific girl. The thread serves a purpose to get any and all art for 1 girl (solo girl threads are extremely common).
This is just the random general but only with active series, what's stopping someone from making a random thread but only for shows that aren't airing, or only for manga, or only for [insert specific thing here].
To me, it's the same feel as if I made a thread for Yui but said ONLY pictures with her and her guitar or only pictures of her in a ponytail were allowed. Is that allowed, sure it's on topic and technically isn't against any rules. Is it a good use of a thread, no because 100% of the images could just be posted in Yui's thread and the 2nd thread isn't offering /c/ anything that Yui's general doesn't already offer. All the 2nd thread is doing is splitting traffic. Just make a request in the main thread at that point, this isn't /wsr/.
