They seriously ruin the fandom and give us a very bad name. I can't mention to anyone that I enjoy anime without them having that image in their mind.
All over the con are these people, it's like a club meetup for "that guy." They are the ones who shout memes at panels, the fuckers who say random japanese words, the smelly overweight people with the lisp, the dumbasses who ask voice actors to glomp them.
I'd say it's about a 50/50 ratio at a con of well-balanced fans vs. the faggots. Sadly, the faggots are the ones who define everyone else with their bullshit. And yes, I have met some of them outside of the con, and they can be just as obnoxious.
