/con/ could be used for general panel/convention stories and pictures. Sorta like /vg/, maybe.

Like I said, it could very well be like /vg/, with general threads for planning meetups, general discussion, and post-con nostalgia.

I was surprised when /s4s/ stayed up. I'm not expecting that miracle twice. But I like this board. Because of work I haven't been able to get to a convention in four years. And I really miss it. It's something to look forward to. These days, when you can stream an anime fansub before the next episode airs in Japan, there isn't much anticipation left. And of course there's the human interaction factor. 4chan is great, but text doesn't convey the excitement of discussing something you're passionate about. That's what we need reaction images for.
I suppose if /con/ stuck around it would just be /soc/ with a /cgl/ theme, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

It doesn't have to be that way.
/cgl/ would be for cosplay meetups at conventions and general cosplay and cosplay panel discussion. The usual cattiness.
/con/ would be for non-cosplay meetups and general discussion regarding panels and maybe booth babes. All that jazz, you dig?
