Personally? Rename this as /nerd/ and just make it about conventions and fandoms in general. Trekkies, convention meetups, meta discussion on this or that thing going on in the fandom or at cons. Just do what 4chan's discussion board did to try and quell all the meta threads or limit them, and move the meta of fandoms to a place to chat it out.

Or laugh it at. Let's face it, we'd have a lot to laugh at.

moot said it was temporary in another thread. I hope he changes his mind. This is a much nicer place to discuss cons than /cgl/. Plus it would work well to keep con meetup/hookup/horrorstories/crstreams off the other boards.
